Well, if you have come here then you must be ready to submit a creation for others to see here at MacNation. Below are the guidelines for each of the catagories:
I. ICONS: Icons may be of anything you desire but must be related in a theme-like style in some way. They must be clean, crisp, and easy to identify. We will accept both classic and OSX style icons. If you would like to submit windows versions of your icons that is fine, although we will not accept ONLY windows. Windows icons MUST be accompanied by a Mac version. When submitting give us a description of the set and how many icons are within it.
II. DESKTOPS: Single desktop picture/wallpaper submissions must be of at least 1024x768 or higher resolution. If you are submitting many sizes of the same desktop you may submit smaller resolutions.
III. FONTS: Fonts must be usable on a Mac. You may submit windows versions of your submission as well, but we will NOT accept windows only fonts.
IV. KALEIDOSCOPE SCHEMES: When submitting K-schemes you must let us know the status of your scheme at the Kaleidoscope Scheme Archive at kaleidoscope.net: KSA Active = It is currently hosted at the KSA; KSA Banned = Scheme taken off the KSA for some reason (you may state the reason if you'd like); KSA Inactive = The scheme was at the KSA but was pulled by YOU, the submitter.
V. OSX THEMES: Themes can be submitted for any version of X, but you must specify which versions they will run on when submitting it. Also a preview of the theme must be attached in jpg or gif format so people will know what it looks like. The preview can be no smaller than 500x500 pixels in size. If it needs to be smaller we'll fix that on our end.
VI. BOOT/LOGIN PANELS: No actual guidelines at this time.
VII. SIMS STUFF: Must be formatted for use on Macs prior to submission.
Remember that your submissions MUST be your own original work. If at any time we are contacted (with proof) that your creation is not your own we will pull it without notice. If the infringement is strong enough we also may pull all past submissions you have made to our archive. Also, although nudity is tolerated with submissions, pornography is not. Submissions showing or suggesting actual sexual contact will immediately be trashed. When making submissions please make sure a Read Me file with contact information is enclosed and in your email give us a description of what you are sending. And all submissions must be compressed stuffit files (zip for sims stuff).
