Redline is a fun, although frustrating, game. In this game you get to choose from a different variety of cars to race. Some of these cars are locked until you get to higher levels. There is one problem with this... it is extremely hard to do so without joystick control. Using this game with a keyboard I found to be extremely hard. I own a Lexmark Extreme 3D Pro but found that there are no options to allow joystick use. With the use of a joystick it would have been a much more enjoyable experience.
Now don't get me wrong. The game is still fun. Just aggravating as you have to learn to master the controls using a keyboard. There is a lot of user generated content out there also for the game so you can have other vehicles to choose from. My favorite being the Back To The Future DeLorean and the TARDIS from Dr. Who. A problem I may have is that I am not an avid gamer. Avid gamers may find the lack of joystick compatability a non-problem. The graphics for the game are intense, especially on my MacIntel Core 2. The game ran sluggish on my iMac flatpanel but I had no problems of this nature on my new machine. If you love racing games and have a new computer of the Intel variety I would definitely recommend this game. It's fast and furious!
