I don't game much. Mainly because it's hard to find games that I find interesting enough to keep on my system longer than a few days. My list of games that I think are worth keeping is extremely small; The Sims, Baldur's Gate II, El Ballo, Civ3). But another game has made the list. Diner Dash is not only fun and addictive, it's challenging. I was hoping to complete the game before making my review, but I'm stuck in the career mode at about level 9. But you know what? I don't care. It is just plain fun! I don't care that I'm having a problem making it to the next level because I enjoy the game nonetheless. That is the mark of a great game.
Diner Dash has 50 levels that allow you to grow your restaurant through 4 complete re-models. In that time you will meet 5 different types of customers (which include a restaurant ctritic and old man). The better you serve each type of customer the more money you make. Another thing I like about DD is that it saves your game for you automatically. You don't have to hit apple-s before you quit. Because of all of this I am giving Diner Dash my highest rating, the Golden Apple Award. If you are looking for a game that is both entertaining and challenging I highly recommend Diner Dash. Try it, buy it, and then start serving up some joe to your perspective clientelle.
