I have been in love with DiskTracker ever since I first found it on a MacAddict disk some years ago. And one thing about this handy application is that it keeps getting better and better.
For anyone who burns a lot of CDs like myself this application is a godsend. It's also invaluable to companies (such as MacAddict) who put out their own CDs to the public. Why? Well, you can save a database of your CDs and their contents. By opening this file you can peruse your collection without having to load and search each and every CD individually. Fantastic!
The best feature is of course it's FIND feature (pictured below). It works somewhat like the same feature found in OSX 10.2. With this you can find anything you are looking for on your disks...including within StuffIt archives!

No more do you have to wonder if what you are looking for has been stuffed or not. DiskTracker will now let you know. There is a survey you can take on their website about what features you'd like to see in future updates. I have to tell you though, DiskTracker is such a powerful little application it's hard to think that it could do more. If you have a huge collection of data CDs or are a developer you NEED to check out DiskTracker if you already haven't. It's definitely a Mac Users tool of choice.
